The law is unable to help the victim until there is proof something serious has happened. Hearts of Purple assists those most in need.

You have a Friend supports the homeless, marginalised, single parents and their children. They provide over 300 meals (plus fruit, vegetables and grocery items) each week to people on the streets in areas such as Tweed Heads, Coolangatta, Murwillumbah, Chinderah, Wooyung, Mount Warning and Uki.

Surf Life Saving
Every year, millions of people visit Australian beaches. Unfortunately, thousands of these visitors find themselves in urgent need of a life saving rescue. The Surf Life Saving Foundation keeps your family and friends safe in the water. Your support will ensure that valuable resources and training are provided to surf life saving clubs across Australia.

Currumbin Wildlife Hospital
The hospital's vital work of treating, rehabilitating and releasing sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife means the hospital has grown to be one of the busiest wildlife hospitals in the world. In 2019, over 12,200 animals (including 600 Koalas) were admitted into the hospital. This service is provided free of charge to the community.
